how do i do it??? thx.
Black hair to platinum?
The easiest way and least damaging is to get blonde extensions.
Black to blonde requires stripping and bleaching which is damaging to your hair.
Black hair to platinum?
You can get a bleach kit from Sally's or a similar store.
You may need to use a toner to get that platitnum look, but the bleach will take the black out.
Reply:Is your hair currently dyed black or is it your natural hair color?
Dying dyed black hair is a pain...plain on spending on at least three bottles of blonde dye if so...
Reply:If your going from black to blonde you have to go to a professional or it will look like crap and it will take a couple of times to get it that blonde. If you hair is dyed black they will have to strip the black out of your hair and then bleach over it. Either way when going from dark to blonde blonde it takes a couple of times because it turns out a brassy orangish color at first and then you have to go over it and bleach it again but you have to wait in between the bleaches or you will fry your hair.
Reply:You have to bleach your hair. It does destroy your hair so keep that in mind. Going from a dark color to platinum blonde I heard is difficult. Go for it if that's what you want to do. Talk to a salon hair stylist about it is your first step to know what to do and have a professional person do it so you or your friends don't mess up and make your hair orange. Good luck with it:-D
Reply:Go to a salon and have them do it. If you do it at home you could end up with hair that becomes brittle and STICKY and probably orange.
If your hair is naturally black you might have a difficult time as its very hard to lighten hair more then 3 shades and have it remain soft and managable.
Reply:thats easy you can even do it urself the goodest way to do it layer it the top short layer the bottom layers long just above you ears run a comb across it pin the top up and bleach the bottom or you can dye it blonde to times then let it down.Good luck
Reply:that hairstyle is great
..do not bleach your hair yourself...you might burn your hair if you leave it in too long..its better to get a pro (hairdresser) to do it...it may cost more buh its waaay safer...and they will make it look really good
:D byee
Reply:It's really easy. I do my best friend's hair all the time, and this has been her hairstyle for like, the past 2 months. Buy the dye at a beauty salon, or even get the boxed kind at walmart. You just part it horizontally in the back (really straight, if you want a distinct contrast between layers, or zig zag between layers if you want it choppy looking) and bring the part all the way to right behind your ears. Then, pull the top layers of your hair up reaalllllyyyy high and dye the bottom with a super light blonde. (NOT bleach if you re-do your hair a lot, or it'll be really damaged) Then, if you have that section of your blonde hair all bundled up in some sort of bun of processing hair dye, get someone else to help you dye the top part black while the blonde is processing, because they will probably be done at the same time if you put the blonde in first. If you're not really skilled with hair dye, your best bet would be to wait until the blonde is done, but still make sure you don't get any of the black hair dye in it. Once you're done, if you style it right and have the right kind of layers, it should look like the picture when you tease it. Voila.
Reply:love this hairstyle :D
