Eyelashes?

just something that i have always wondered :


if you pick your eyelashes off do they grow back?

Yes, but it takes a very long time. When eyelashes shed naturally, it's a different story - that's supposed to happen.
Reply:Yes they do. I have my eyelashes dyed, and by the end of a month to 6 weeks I need to have it done again as the dyed ones have fallen out to be replaced with new growth.

Reply:The cells that make up an eyelash are more complex than hair cells so it takes longer for them to re-grow because it is harder the the body to make / re-make more complex cell were hair is a simple cell so it grows fast, but if trauma was caused to the eye lid there is a chance it will not re-grow
