Trim the ends every 3-6 weeks :)
How do i prevent split ends?
deep conditioner and your set
Reply:Comb it slowly when its wet, because wet hair is more sensitive to combing that dry hair

Trim the ends every couple of months

Apply Vo5 Hot Oil to your hair every month to protect it from damage

Use protective sprays when you blow-dry/straighten/curl/crimp your hair to protect from styling damage

Don't overwash your hair
Reply:There's really no good shampoo for split ends. I had some split ends too with my own hair and i'm sure some other girls too that are mostly with long hairs, but what I do is get my hair trimmed or haircut then i'll just use a good shampoo with conditioner (2in1) or those separates one i recommend pantene pro-v or suave or dove and make sure you don't put alot of shampoo everytime you take a shower because shampoos are strong and you don't want your hair just fall down when you brush it or something and ofcourse more split ends. Oh and if you can, try to put some hot oil/creme to your hair after you get your hair trimmed it really helps ;))
Reply:to prevent split comb from ends to scalp.......and you can deep condition your hair , also trim your ends every 2- weeks to 6 depending on how fast yor hair grows
Reply:Trim it every few weeks to get rid of the damages.

Try using DOVE shampoo %26amp; conditioner, I LOVE that. Or Garnier Fructis long %26amp; strong, helps prevents split ends.

Yes you can comb it when its wet, but don't over brush it, because over brushing your hair causes damage= split ends.

Avoid using brushes, especially the ones with sharp bristles. Try using tail combs (below). You can get them from WalMart for like $3
Reply:I'm not sure that you can prevent them. The biggest cause is heat (dryer, curling/straightener), which most of us use. If you use heat, you should use it at the lowest setting that works with your hair and use a heat protectant. You can comb your hair when it's wet but you should use a wide-toothed combed. Also using a good conditioner, and hot oil treatments can help.
