i suggest wearing one of those swimming caps. and once you've finished swimming, take a shower and wash your hair. it'd help to wash away the chlorine. :D

Reply:you can buy this thing at walgreens just ask them or you can put like a plastiuc bagf over your hair.
Reply:Wear a shower cap, like the olympic swimmers do, and as soon as you get out the pool wash your hair in CLEAN water, also use a good shampoo too.

that way the chlorine won't kill your hair.

Reply:wear a cap which is plastic inside and is double layered outside.


tie your hair high in a bun sort of thing, basically all of your hair should be inside the cap.


after a swim, wash your hair with a mild baby shampoo,


and oil your hair twice a week.


i am a swimmer myself, and my hair are elbow length,


use my technique, but take advice from an elder too.

If you really dont want your hair exposed at all to the chlorine, definately use a swim cap =) Otherwise, i have another suggestion for you too!





I know of a shampoo that you can use to get the chlorine out of your hair after you swim. It works really well too =), and shines your hair to make it healthy and strong. after your hair is exposed to chlorine!

I know were you are coming from


I swim train 10 times a week and i also have problems with chlorine


you need to wear a swim cap when swimming.


you can also use special products to remove this.


Tying your hair back can also be good.

remember to wash your hair regally and keep it clean
