What should I do with my hair (Pics)?

I have very thick, straight hair that is about to my waist at the longest point. Right now it has some layers and some longer side bangs, but that's about it. I've been wanting to get it cut for some time now, and I'd like something a little different, but I don't know what I should do with it or what would look best on me and with my face shape. Any suggestions and pics/links you can send for ideas are appreciated. Thanks in advance!

my hair is the exact same thing and it is really hard to handle so i would do layer for me i like thick and long but if you dont just get more layers and next time you are getting your hair done ask for it to be thinned out that might work
Reply:i had hair just like yours than last year i went on a cutting spree.. i regret it sooo much so dont cut your hair unless you're sure you want it gone

Reply:If you are really sure and don't mind quite a dramatic change, i would go shoulder length, kinda choppy style you know? you have perfect shaped face too carry it off really well. and there is loads of pictures on all the hair websites with that kind of style. then if you like itm you can change length or add colour etc after, with such a big change i'd definately go for doing it bit by bit
Reply:You look very young, so getting about three inch's off and framed toward your face would be great. Bangs are really hot now so get bangs that are just at your eyebrow.Hope i helped and good luck.

Reply:You could have so much fun with your hair. Have someone take all your hair away from your face. Then take a dark short towel ..and put over your head to show a bob look ..then a little longer and so on. In saying this if you get excited try going 5 or 6 inches shorter. Find your face shape and study styles on that shape face. Books are great now with lots of pictures. Bangs would be fun use yarn to see how you like the look.....have fun be creative.
