I used to have a $50 Conair Flat iron it worked great but id took about 2 hours to do my hair. And in the end it wrecked and damaged my hair. I have Fine Curly hair and i want to iron it that much. So My question is whats the differance. Im ordering a solia from folica. So whats the differance guys? EASY TEN POINTS
Pro Flat Irons Vs Drug Store Flat irons?
drug store- cheaper, damaging, not high quality, long time to do hair
pro flat irons- more expensive, less damaging, very high quality, shorter time to do hair, better

Pro Flat Irons Vs Drug Store Flat irons?
I dont really think there is one. How could some one make a "better flat iron"? Its just heated metal. And how could it "be better on your hair" its the same design and every thing. Good question, i would like to know too.
Reply:My friend gave me the best present, that I didn't realize at the time was a special as it is. When she gave it to me, she made such a big deal out of it, and I was like "well ok, its just a flat iron, right"...
it isn't JUST a flat iron, it's my most prized object:
It is an FHI flat iron, and there is a difference. Something about it gives an extra smoothness to your hair, doesn't seem to dry it out, somehow keeps the oil in. I think they are expensive, but they are the ones that the pros use.
I stayed in Miami with a group of ten girls, who all had their flat irons out while we were getting dolled up, but theirs didn't seem to beat the humidity. Everyone was still frizzy, but then they saw what my FHI did, and they unplugged theirs and all used mine!
I've tried other flat irons when I didn't have mine handy, and you can tell the difference immediately -- Also, mine's been going strong for 4 years now, its SO worth it!
