How do you avoid split-ends?

How could you avoid split ends? I blowdry my hair everytime I wash it. Should I stop blowdrying it? What are some good hair products I could use to avoid split ends? Thanks, and please answer ASAP!

condition everytime you shampoo, use a heat-protective styling spray/cream( like V05, heat styler.), and get regular trims.

Yes blow-drying can cause split-ends. Heat causes the cuticle to open. Use cold water in your hair and it will close (but the split-end won't really go away) Herbel essences has a split-end protecter you can use. It leaves your hair smelling good too!

1: use a blowdryer as little as possible. let it dry naturally


2: use a silk theraphy such as bio-silk or a chi product


3: always brush your hair from the bootom up.


4: do not use rubber bands. get your hair trimmed ever 2-3 months. An average persons hair grows1/2 inch every moth. and your hair grows from the roots. therefore remember cutting your hair does NOT make it grow faster.
