Not sure of hair color?

okay....... at first glance you could say my hair is black but then if you look closely you see brown almost like i have hilights...since i'm asian i asked my grandma wats up with my hair and she said its from to much exposure to sunlight...thing is i barely go outside...and if i put my hair against light its brown... i'm not sure if i'm part spanish because my family wont answr me properly, so i cant say its because i'm eurasian...

idk. My hair looks differnt in the light too. I think its jus because the light makes your hair look lighter : /

Some people are born with it. My friend has the same thing (and she's asian too), but it's completely brown with light light brown highlights, it's really cool. I saw her sister, and her sister had dark brown, almost black hair.

Almost nobody has truly black hair unless it is dyed. If you have asian colouring in you then it is likely that you just have very dark brown. As the hair goes into the light it is natural that it would look lighter, this is natural.
